Message the difference betwen the mild head refresh/work and a full longblock build is over $3k. The engine has just over 50k original miles on it, so I'm assuming/hoping it's still good for a while. I'm really only removing the heads to replace a bad valve seal(s), unfortunately. So I decided I'd just have them freshened up. If it so happens that the shortblock takes a crap in a few years, I'm only out the cost of head gaskets, head bolts and some miscelaneous bits and pieces. I will have no problem pulling the thing myself, so it's just a matter of my time. If I could afford to build the whole thing, believe me, I would. I knew there would be a lot of stuff to replace/mod on this car (everything in my profile was done in <1.5 years). However, I did NOT plan on having to replace internals this early. So, we'll see what happens in the next few weeks. You never know.

"done"?
BAHAHAHAHAH ... it's never "done" ...." (in regards to the Z)
